Working on Election Day is a rewarding experience--and it pays too!
If you would like to become a member of the Election Team, please fill out
the form below and submit it. Names will be added to a pool of
workers for Election. Filling out this application is not a
guarantee that you will be picked to work on an election board.

U.S. citizen and a registered voter in Bourbon County

* Must be affiliated with either the Democratic or Republican Party

* Must attend paid Election Worker Training prior to each Election

* Must not be a candidate on the ballot, except in the position of
Precinct

- In 2008, there are two elections. The
Primary Election is Tuesday, August 5th and the General Presidential
Election is Tuesday, November 4th.

- A full Election Day is at least 13 hours.
Board workers arrive at the polling place by 6:30 am and the day isn't
over until all the machines totaled and all closing procedures are
completed, usually after 7:30 pm or later. Most workers are required to work the entire shift. Some shift work
may be available. Please indicate whether you will be available for
the entire day or only a half day.
